The starters for the 2026 All-Star Volleyball Showcase were unveiled Monday, boosting anticipation for the May 1 spectacle in Candon City, where the Premier Volleyball League’s top stars will take center stage.
The starting lineups were determined through fan voting held from March 12 to April 11, with supporters selecting the first seven players for each side in the PVL All-Star Game.
Creamline’s Jia De Guzman will lead Team Heart, while PLDT’s Kim Fajardo will headline Team Hustle, setting up a marquee showdown between two of the league’s premier setters.
De Guzman will be joined by Creamline teammate Jema Galanza and Capital1 rookie Bella Belen, who finished first and second in the outside hitter voting.
Cignal’s Erika Santos secured the opposite hitter spot for Team Heart.
At the net, another Creamline standout in Jeanette Panaga will team up with PLDT’s Majoy Baron after the two finished first and second in the middle blocker race.
Akari libero Justine Jazareno, the top vote-getter at her position, completes Team Heart’s starting seven and is expected to anchor the team’s floor defense.
On the other side, Fajardo will be backed by a familiar PLDT core that includes Kianna Dy at opposite hitter, Mika Reyes at middle blocker, and Kath Arado at libero.
Creamline’s Bernadeth Pons and Choco Mucho’s Eya Laure, who topped the outside hitter voting for Team Hustle, complete the squad’s wing attack.
Akari’s Fifi Sharma claimed the other middle blocker spot for Team Hustle after finishing second in her category.
The reserve players will be announced on April 20 following a broader selection process involving coaches, players, team officials, league committees, and media representatives.
