State-owned Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and the City Government of Tacurong, Sultan Kudarat signed two term loan agreements worth P500-million to boost the city’s socio-economic potential as the commercial hub of Sultan Kudarat province.
Proceeds from the loan will help build various infrastructure and logistics projects such as public terminals, public markets, solar streetlights, a city government computerization system, and the purchase of heavy equipment units.
Tacurong City, the only city in Sultan Kudarat, serves the commercial needs of its 20 barangays and the other 11 municipalities of the province, including Maguindanao province.
