Dao house destroyed in late-night fire

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A house made of concrete and light materials was destroyed by fire Sunday night, Aug. 16, in Sitio Proper, Barangay Lacaron, Dao, Capiz.
The Bureau of Fire Protection identified the homeowner as Erenia Tagacay, 82, of the area.
The BFP said it received a report from a concerned citizen at about 10:24 p.m. and immediately responded to the fire.
Firefighters declared the fire out at about 11:29 p.m., about 65 minutes after the incident was reported.
Arson investigators are determining the cause of the fire and the estimated damage.
