Just three months after their action-packed PVL reinforced conference title clash, the Creamline Cool Smashers and Petro Gazz Angels are back for an exciting rematch.
After crushing Motolite in straight-sets fashion, 25-18, 25-15, 25-8, the Cool Smashers are back with a vengeance after losing to Petro Gazz in the finals the previous conference.
Alyssa Valdez, who is still battling a mild ankle injury, led Creamline with 15 huge points including three service aces and two blocks.
The Petro Gazz net defense just had no answer to Creamline’s offensive artillery as Valdez was joined by Michelle Gumabao and Jema Galanza in the spiking party, scoring 12 points apiece.
Jia Morado led the execution of the attack to near perfection as she chipped in 21 excellent sets that resulted to numerous quick plays for Valdez and Gumabao.
This will be a highly anticipated rematch for Valdez and her squad after losing in a grueling third game against the Angels last year’s finals. Expect the women in pink to have a chip on their shoulder.
