City opens vax pre-registration for children 5 to 11 years old

Pre-registration for the vaccination of minors aged 5 to 11 years old is now open in Iloilo City.
Parents or guardians of minors can now pre-register at the SM City Iloilo Southpoint in Mandurriao district. The pre-registration will be open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. excluding holidays.
The requirements include either the valid identification card or birth certificate of the child.
Meanwhile, the pre-registration will only cater to minors aged 5 to 11 years old who are residents of Iloilo City or those who are currently studying in the metro.
The pre-registration is in preparation for the vaccination of minors aged 5 to 11 years old.
Iloilo City government targets to vaccinate more than 57,600 children aged 5 to 11 years old, based on the census of the City Population Office.
The city has identified two mega-vaccination sites for the pediatric vaccination specifically the Central Philippine University (CPU) covered gym and the Ateneo de Iloilo covered gym.
Recently, Mayor Jerry Treñas said that they hope to start the vaccination of the 5 to 11 years old by 2nd week of February once the Pfizer vaccines arrive in Iloilo City. (DG)
