Cisco and Entropy have formed a collaboration aimed at expanding secure, artificial intelligence (AI)-ready infrastructure in the Philippines, positioning the partnership as a step toward broader nationwide AI innovation.
Entropy will leverage Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA, which the companies described as a secure AI infrastructure solution intended to help develop and scale AI offerings for telcos, internet service providers, and enterprises.
The companies said the effort will support “new and practical AI uses” in areas such as transportation, healthcare, and essential services.
Cisco and Entropy said this is the first deployment of Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA in the Philippines, enabling organizations to trial and develop AI use cases locally.
The collaboration is part of Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration Program, and the companies said it is designed to provide organizations with robust, secure, AI-ready infrastructure that can turn AI ideas into scalable solutions.
Cisco framed the partnership as responding to surging demand for secure, scalable, high-performance AI infrastructure as AI adoption accelerates across Philippine organizations.
Half of the Philippine organizations surveyed expect their AI workloads to increase by over 50% in the next three to five years, according to Cisco’s AI Readiness Index 2025.
Only half of surveyed Philippine organizations are building AI capacity with the necessary power infrastructure to support that growth, the AI Readiness Index 2025 found.
“AI has the potential to transform the way Filipinos live and work, but it starts with the right foundation,” said Zaza Soriano-Nicart, Managing Director of Cisco Philippines.
“By working together with Entropy, we are not just bringing world-class AI infrastructure to the Philippines but also empowering local industries to harness emerging technologies securely, reliably, and at scale,” Soriano-Nicart said.
“This is a critical step forward in building an inclusive, AI-ready nation,” she added.
Entropy said its focus is making AI practical and accessible for Filipinos in everyday settings, particularly in connectivity and continuity of services.
“Our mission is to translate AI innovation into tangible benefits for Filipinos, whether it’s expanding connectivity in rural areas or ensuring reliable communication during emergencies and natural disasters,” said Sam Consorte, Managing Director of Entropy.
“Partnering with Cisco gives us the world-class tools and secure platforms needed to deliver these solutions quickly and confidently, creating real impact in communities across the country,” Consorte said.
Cisco said the Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA is designed to deliver enterprise-grade security, seamless integration, and unified management so telcos, internet service providers, and enterprises can accelerate AI innovation while maintaining high standards of safety and security.
Cisco said the Secure AI Factory is built with Cisco AI PODs as its foundation, describing them as modular, pre-validated, and cloud-agnostic full-stack infrastructure offerings.
The company said the design is intended to remove the complexity of building data center infrastructure, allowing organizations to build and expand for specific AI needs without sacrificing operational simplicity or security.
The release said Entropy previously relied on analytics tools that were not built for the demands of live, mission-critical telecom operations.
With Cisco, the companies said Entropy can now process large volumes of data securely and at scale, bringing automation and actionable insights into telecom networks.
Both parties said they are looking to enable telecom applications such as network automation, predictive maintenance, and broadband analytics.
They also cited potential use cases in smart traffic, public safety, and cybersecurity.
The companies said the collaboration aligns with national goals for digital innovation and supports Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration Program in the Philippines, also known as UGNAYAN 2030.
