The Cignal Super Spikers’ strong start in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference continued after edging the Farm Fresh Foxies, 25-17, 26-24, 20-25, 30-28, to improve their undefeated record to 3-0 on Feb. 10, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
After dropping the crucial third set, which gave Farm Fresh a new lease on life, Cignal delivered the knockout blow in the fourth frame through an impressive come-from-behind rally.
The Foxies were close to forcing a deciding fifth set after reaching match point, 24-22, off a service ace from outside hitter Jolina dela Cruz.
However, the 1-2 punch of Vanie Gandler and Erika Santos sparked a 3-0 counterattack, giving the Super Spikers a 25-24 advantage.
Farm Fresh refused to fold under pressure as setter Alohi Robins-Hardy executed a 1-2 play that tied the score at 25-all.
Both teams traded offensive conversions, with Ces Molina and Trisha Tubu saving two match points for Farm Fresh, while Gel Cayuna and Gandler scored timely points that helped Cignal maintain a slim lead.
The last deadlock came at 28-all before the Super Spikers shut the door on Farm Fresh. Cignal caught a break after Foxies’ Riri Meneses committed a service error, followed by Tin Tiamzon’s soft touch to end the four-set marathon with a win.
Gandler powered the Super Spikers in the victory, recording her best offensive performance of the season with 25 points on 24 successful attacks.
In addition to her scoring, Gandler fortified Cignal’s floor defense with 15 excellent receptions and 14 excellent digs.
Backing Gandler in Cignal’s third consecutive win was Santos, who contributed 15 points from 13 attacks and two blocks.
On the other hand, Farm Fresh drew strong performances from Tubu and Molina, who scored 19 and 18 points, respectively, but their combined effort was not enough to upset the Super Spikers.
Cignal aims to protect its unbeaten record on Feb. 14, 2026, against the Nxled Chameleons, while Farm Fresh seeks to rebound on the same date against the Galeries Tower Highrisers.
