Jovelyn Gonzaga of Guimaras and Rachel Ann Daquis delivered when their team needed it the most, as the veterans answered the team’s call in the clutch, scoring 17 and 21 big points respectively.
Cignal’s libero, Jheck Dionela, provided excellent floor defense as she put up an excellent 30 digs performance with 21 receptions.
Petron went surging in the middle moments of the game but Cignal had enough firepower to stand toe-to-toe with the powerhouse Petron for five sets.
The PSL Finals will feature the Cignal HD Spikers and F2 Logistics Cargo Movers as they clash today in their first game.
