A prosecutor, pastor, teacher and an entrepreneur took their oath Wednesday as members of the re-organized advisory council of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Field Unit 6, Camp Delgado, Iloilo City.
CIDG 6 reorganized its advisory council as it gears to hurdle the proficiency stage in its adoption of the Performance Governance System.
The five-member advisory council accepted the challenge to help CIDG 6 in the adoption of PGS through the implementation of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 (Peace and order Agenda for Transformation and upholding of the Rule-Of-Law).
The five AC members are Prosecutor Carol Salvatierra, Professor Sharon Rose Lin Masa, Pastor Normandy Notes, Salvador Apuan, and Bejamin Silayro.
Police Colonel Benliner Capili, CIDG6 chief, said the role of the AC is pivotal in making his unit becomes highly capable, effective and credible in delivering its mandates.
“We need strategic insights from people who share our passion and advocacy of improving the performance of our unit,” Capili said.
The AC will serve for two years subject for renewal should they desire to continue their commitment.
The AC membership is voluntary and the members are chosen based on their track record of promoting good governance in their respective fields.
