ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 91-year-old Chinese national from Brgy. Baybay here is the latest coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) fatality.
Based on data from the Capiz Provincial Health Office (PHO) on Nov 12, Capiz has recorded 958 total cases (48 deaths, 847 recoveries, and 63 active cases).
On the other hand, Roxas City recorded two new cases: Case No. 523, a 43-year-old female Health Worker from Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH) and resident of Arnaldo Blvd., Brgy. Baybay; and Case No. 524, a 24-year-old female call center coach and resident of Mansion Road, Brgy. XI.
At present, Roxas City has 524 COVID-19 cases (34 active cases, 457 recoveries, and 33 deaths).
Meanwhile, five towns in Capiz province are now COVID-free as of Nov. 10 – Dao, Dumalag, Jamindan, President Roxas, and Sapian.
Capiz has 16 towns, including this city.
Other towns with active COVID-19 cases are Pontevedra (10), Tapaz (6), Dumarao (4), Maayon (3); Ivisan, Panay, Panitan, and Sigma with two cases each; Cuartero, Mambusao, and Pilar with one case each.
