CERES Negros FC defeated Persija Jakarta of Indonesia ,1-0, at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City, April 3, 2019 in the ongoing AFC Cup 2019.
Bienvenido Marañon led the Busmen after scoring the lone goal in the ninth minute of the game. The Negros Occidental-based team remains in the top spot of Group G with nine points.
The Indonesian booters tried their best to equalize the game with Rohit Chand making several attempts but Ceres-Negros keeper Roland Müller was ever ready to frustrate them.
Ceres will travel to Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta to face Persija Jakarta once more.
