ROXAS CITY, Capiz— Good news!
The province of Capiz has zero new cases of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) for six straight days.
The Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported that no new cases were logged in the province from January 24 to 29, 2021.
The number of cases in the province of Capiz remained at 1,249 including 1,179 recoveries, 59 deaths and only 11 active cases.
The active cases are in Roxas City (3), Dumalag (1), Dumarao (5), Pilar (1), and Tapaz (1).
On the other hand, Roxas City also has no new cases for 8 straight days.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said the city has 663 confirmed cases where only 3 are active, 623 have recovered and 37 deaths.
The barangayas with active cases are Milibili, Banica, and Libas with one case each.
Meanwhile, Capiz Governor Esteban Evan Contreras said the public should not be complacent.
Minimum health protocols such as wearing of face mask, face shield, washing of hands, and physical distancing should always be observed.
