Capiz has 445 Covid-19 cases

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The province of Capiz has 445 number of Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19) cases.
Latest data from the Provincial Health Office (PHO) indicated that 333 cases are under home quarantine, 81 are confined to hospitals, while 31 are in the local government units’ (LGUs) temporary treatment and monitoring facilities.
The data also indicated that 96.85 percent cases are in mild or asymptomatic condition while 2.92 percent are moderate, severe to critical condition.
At present, the PHO has yet to confirm if the sudden surge in cases is due to the Omicron variant as they are the results of the genome sequencing from the Philippine Genome Center.
Health officials reminds the public to always wear face mask, observe physical distancing, frequently wash their hand and be vaccinated.
