A home-based call center agent was arrested in a police anti-narcotics operation afternoon of January 27 at Molo, Iloilo City.
Lyndon Glenn Diego, 39, a resident of Deca Homes Subdivision, Barangay Jibao-an, Pavia, Iloilo, was arrested after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu for PHP10,200.
Members of the Molo Police Station collared the suspect at Barangay Taal and further recovered from him another sachet of suspected shabu, a sling bag, a mobile phone, a Suzuki motorcycle, and PHP10,200 buy-bust money.
Staff Sergeant Arjie Catalayban, Molo police investigator, said that the seized drugs weighed around 8 grams and has an estimated street price of PHP50,000.
Catalayban said the suspect had been incarcerated for seven months over a qualified theft case.
He was released in 2017.
Catalayban is again back behind bars and will be charged for Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
