After the gold medals Rhea Bullos collected in the 400, 800, and 1500-meter dash events, the viral champion from the 5th district led his squad in notching another gold medal in the 2019 Iloilo Schools Sports Council Meet, 4×400 meter relay elementary girls event.
Now the apple of the eyes of the ISSC meet because of her “shoeless triumph,” Rhea said despite the attention she is getting, the mindset is still about bringing home the bacon, and that’s the gold medal.
Winning by a wide disparity in their relay event, the fifth district girls will represent the province of Iloilo in the upcoming 2020 Regional Sports Meet.
Meanwhile, in the elementary boys 4×400 m relay, the 2nd congressional district reigned as champions.
In the secondary boys’ relay, the fifth district squad redeemed their younger brothers in the elementary, avenging their loss and taking the crown.
