The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) is now offering an 18-month Young Professional Program (YPP) to high potential young professionals in relevant fields.
The YPP aims to provide opportunities to young professionals to apply their knowledge in the context of BSP’s operations. The program will also expose potential central bank associates to BSP’s objectives, functions, and operations.
“This is an important aspect of our mission to bring central banking closer to the people,” said BSP Governor Benjamin E. Diokno. “With this program, we are not only able to train future central bankers, but also share with them the relevance and impact of BSP within the context of the Philippine society,” he added.
The program is open to high-potential talents with master’s degrees in the following priority disciplines: Communications, Economics, Finance, Statistics/Mathematics, Data Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related courses.
Qualified applicants will be hired as Central Bank Associates and undergo training, onboarding, and mentoring with relevant departments and will be deeply immersed in central banking operations. High performers may be eligible for permanent appointment in suitable positions in relevant departments.
