Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Felipe M. Medalla (center) received the “Accountancy Centenary Award of Excellence” in a ceremony held at the Manila Hotel last 17 March 2023.
A certified public accountant (CPA) and economist, the Governor is among 100 CPAs recognized for advancing the accounting profession and contributing significantly to national development. This recognition was granted by the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy (PRBOA) in collaboration with the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and other accountancy organizations.
