After the surprising fallout by one of the Philippines’ premier boxing promotions and organizations ALA Boxing, Albert Pagara thought his career was over.
Finding himself out of a home after the shutdown of ALA, Pagara’s regained some hope after famous boxing and MMA management MTK Global signed him.
During one episode of the Power and Play radio program of former PBA commissioner Noli Eala, Pagara bared that he was absorbed by the MTK management.
“Naka-pirma na ako sa MTK Promotions. Sila na ang humahawak sa akin ngayon,” said the first Filipino boxer to be signed under MTK.
Also, one of the factors that pushed Pagara to accept the MTK offer was because they are closely related to Top Rank Promotions.
“Madali silang magbigay ng laban. Pagpirma ko pa lang binigyan na nila ako ng laban,” added Pagara.
Pagara will be joining the likes of Tyson Fury, Billy Joe Saunders, Josh Taylor, Carl Frampton, Terry Flanagan, and Jamel Herrin.
