BACOLOD City – A businessman donated a 6,000-square meter lot to the Philippine Red Cross-Bacolod City Chapter.
The property is located at the boundary of Purok Matahum and Purok Irigasyon in Barangay Tangub Bacolod City.
Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia signed as witness to the Deed of Donation held at the City Mayor’s Office of the Bacolod City Government Center on Sept 3, 2019.
The property was donated by Engr. Danny Jolipa, general manager of Micro-Asia Builders, Inc.
Based on their agreement, Red Cross–Bacolod will develop the land for its logistics hub and blood and training center.
Construction of the center will begin next year.
Leonardia said the city government is eyeing to connect the said property to the Circumferential Road for easier access.
