The Department of Finance and the Bureau of Internal Revenue launched a secure digital Taxpayer Portal for taxpayers registered under the Large Taxpayers Service on May 26, 2026, at the BIR National Office in Quezon City.
The TP Portal is a centralized platform designed to help large taxpayers manage tax records and transactions in one place.
Through the portal, taxpayers may view registration details, monitor filed tax returns by tax type, track tax payments, access account ledgers, and receive system-generated reminders.
The BIR said the platform is intended to give taxpayers and the agency a more consistent and organized view of taxpayer information while simplifying day-to-day compliance management.
Finance Secretary Frederick D. Go served as keynote speaker during the launch, which was attended by DOF officials, BIR deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners, officials and personnel, business sector representatives, and LTS-registered taxpayers.
“In the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., we actually are always pushing to find pain points, to find challenging experiences of Filipinos when dealing with the government, and trying to find solutions to those pain points. What is happening here this morning is a very, very good example of how the Bureau of Internal Revenue, led by Commissioner Mendoza, has been responding to the call of the administration. So, congratulations to the BIR,” said Secretary Go.
Go said the portal would remove the need for taxpayers to deal with multiple complex systems, fragmented records, and repeated follow-ups for routine tax obligations.
“Instead of going through separate platforms and scattered records, everything is now in one place. One portal. One account. One complete, reliable view of your tax records. No more unnecessary steps,” he said.
“To my BIR family, this milestone reflects your hard work and a shift in mindset. We are moving towards a government that is faster, more responsive, and more transparent. This portal is not the end goal. It is a major step towards better systems. Every improvement we make in tax administration strengthens our entire nation,” he closed.
BIR Commissioner Charlito Martin R. Mendoza addressed more than 300 LTS taxpayers during the launch.
Mendoza said the bureau had committed six months ago to pursue reforms that would create lasting improvements in taxpayer service, integrity, and professionalism.
“Over the past several months, we have been delivering on that commitment. We accelerated the rollout of digital initiatives designed to improve taxpayer experience, strengthen efficiency, and promote voluntary compliance,” Commissioner Mendoza said.
Mendoza said the TP Portal is the latest in a series of digital initiatives introduced by the BIR in the first five months of 2026.
These initiatives include the Interactive Digital Tax Calendar, LOA Verifier, QR Code Verification System for Certificates of Registration, Digital TIN through the eGovPH App, BIR Form 1701-MS for micro and small taxpayers, and the QR-enabled Registration Seal Badge for online businesses.
The BIR website describes the TP Portal as a secured digital platform providing selected pilot large taxpayers with a single-view access point for taxpayer information.
Mendoza said the pilot implementation initially covers taxpayers under the Large Taxpayers Service so the bureau can work closely with taxpayers operating at the highest levels of business and compliance complexity while the system is strengthened and refined.
“To our taxpayers under the Large Taxpayers Service, your role in the country’s economy goes beyond collections,” Commissioner Mendoza said. “Your discipline, consistency, and professionalism in tax compliance help reinforce confidence in the Philippines as a stable, credible, and investment-ready business environment.”
The launch program included a Taxpayer Portal overview video, live account creation, taxpayer testimonials, and messages from BIR officials.
Mendoza said the TP Portal is part of the bureau’s broader modernization efforts under BIR DARES.
According to a BIR release in January, BIR DARES stands for Digital and Data Transformation, Audit Reform and Accountability, Revenue Collection and Base Protection, Employee Empowerment and Welfare Promotion, Service Excellence, and Stakeholder Engagement.
“BIR DARES is about having the courage to move reforms forward in 2026 with an improve-as-we-go mindset instead of waiting for systems to become perfect before implementation. That is how we intend to move forward with the TP Portal,” Commissioner Mendoza said.
The rollout underscores the government’s continuing push to digitize tax administration and improve voluntary compliance among large taxpayers, which are among the most complex accounts handled by the BIR.
