Kai Sotto will be representing the country in the Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Global Camp in Chicago, USA.
Selected by the NBA and FIBA as one of the top 64 boys from 34 countries who will see action in the camp and as a part of the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend.
Currently staying in the US for his ongoing private basketball training, Sotto has been making noise in different pocket leagues including being named MVP in an Atlanta-based tournament.
His performances in the different leagues drew the interest of many NCAA teams, with some recruiting him to play college basketball for them.
Sotto’s development as a player comes as no surprise, improving in many aspects of the game including court-awareness and his ball-handling.
The BWB stint will be a launching pad for Sotto to his biggest dream of going into the NBA with the likes of Pascal Siakam, Deandre Ayton, Rui Hachimura, and Jamal Murray having participated in the event.
