Mayor Lizares expressed gratitude to Ayala Land for its continued confidence in Talisay, citing the company’s role in city development through long-term and strategic investments.
She noted key projects made possible through the partnership, including the Talisay City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Command Center, the Talisay Employment Services Office, and the Northpoint front yard sports and archery area, which have helped boost economic activity and civic engagement.
“For 28 years, Ayala Land has been a valued partner in shaping Talisay into a progressive and livable city,” Mayor Lizares said.
“This partnership continues to be a model of how public-private collaboration can drive inclusive development and create opportunities for our people,” she added.
The city’s Gwapa nga Panghimanwa initiative also recognized Ayala Land’s continued trust and support, emphasizing the importance of such collaborations in promoting innovation, job creation, and local economic growth.
Representing Ayala Land were Vice President Jennylle Tupaz; Assistant Vice President for Project Development Jay Teodoro; Therese Borromeo of Ayala Land Estates; Project Development Manager for Western Visayas Paulo Quinto; and Associate Manager for Project Development (Western Visayas) Liezl Jardo.
Joining Mayor Lizares from the city government were City Administrator Atty. Jonathan Ealdama, Assistant City Administrator Ismael Penado, and City Legal Officer Atty. Kirk Magnabe, who welcomed the ALI delegation and took part in discussions on future collaborations.
