Attempted homicide suspect arrested after 19 years

SAPIAN, Capiz – The Sapian police station led by P/Lt. Francisco Umiten, Jr., and the Altavas police in Aklan province arrested a man facing an attempted homicide charge after 19 years of hiding.

Allan Dela Cruz, 38, of Brgy. Lumaynay, Altavas was collared 8 a.m. Monday.

Dela Cruz is the subject of an arrest warrant relative to Criminal Case No. 2582 for attempted homicide.

Judge Ruben Lambuson of the 5th Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Sigma, Capiz issued the warrant on June 17, 2003. Bail for his temporary liberty was set at Php12,000.
