The Ateneo De Iloilo Alumni Association recently held a successful biking event dubbed “Giro D’ Ateneo 2022” in the City of Love.
In partnership with the Ateneo De Iloilo Blue Dragon Bike Club, hundreds of bikers gathered at the Ateneo De Iloilo School campus to officially kick off the event.
The Halloween fellowship bike ride event also marked its return after two years of inactivity due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aside from bonding with their Ateneo community, the bike event also promotes a healthy and active outdoor lifestyle and wellness for all the participants.
Also one of the main objectives of the prestigious biking event is to highlight the bike-friendly Iloilo City and the use of its bike lanes.
The facilitating group that helped the ADI Alumni Association and the Blue Dragon Bike Club is Sikad Ta Iloilo co-presented by C-Lium Fibre and Poten-Cee.
After the rides, the Giro D’ Ateneo event wrapped up with its yearly tradition of games, raffles, treats, and a food fest.
The organizing body would like to thank Iloilo City Government, Iloilo City Sports Division, TMTRO, Federation Fire, ADI-Santa Maria Catholic School, ADI Faculty Volunteers, Team Pinzon, and the EMR Raptors Iloilo.
