The different Augustinian campuses gathered in Iloilo city and will battle each other out for supremacy as the 2019 Augustinian Schools Athletic Meet (ASAM) officially starts.
The University of San Agustin Iloilo campus is the main host of the ASAM 2019, in what will be a quick turn-around after hosting this year’s 2019 University Games (UNIGAMES).
The four-day sports event starting from October 27, 2019, will feature all Augustinian athletes coming from the different Augustinian systems.
In a change of pace, ASAM will feature lawn tennis, a sport absent in the recently concluded UNIGAMES.
ASAM’s main goal is to unite the various Augustinian schools and campuses through the avenue of sports and to develop camaraderie in all of their students.
The games will be played from the elementary level to tertiary with more than 300 participants gracing the event.
