Alyssa Solomon joins Thai champion Nakhon Ratchasima
By Leobert Julian A. de la Peña

MANILA — Alyssa Solomon secured another overseas stint after signing with Thailand-based volleyball club Nakhon Ratchasima 3M Films VC, the team announced Oct. 10.
Solomon’s representatives at GT Sports Agency also confirmed the move, marking her second Asian import stint after playing for the Osaka Marvelous in Japan.
With the signing, Solomon became the fourth Filipina to play for Nakhon Ratchasima, following Mylene Paat, Dindin Santiago-Manabat and Ced Domingo.
Nakhon Ratchasima is strengthening its roster in the offseason as it prepares to defend its Thai League championship.
Solomon adds more firepower to a roster led by Sasipaporn Janthawisut, Sirima Manakij, Tichakorn Boonlert and Kaewkalaya Kamulthala.
Solomon had hinted at another international stint as early as June after withdrawing from the 2026 Premier Volleyball League Rookie Draft.
Several European clubs were also rumored to have shown interest in acquiring her before Nakhon Ratchasima secured her services following strong campaigns in the SEA V League and the 20th Asian Games.
The former National University standout is a four-time SEA V League Best Opposite Spiker awardee.
She also helped the Alas Pilipinas women’s national volleyball team finish the Asian Games with a 3-2 win-loss record.
Despite missing the playoff round, Solomon’s consistent play helped Alas Pilipinas secure a ninth-place finish at the Asian Games.
Her most notable performances in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, came against Kazakhstan and Mongolia, where she scored 20 and 12 points, respectively.
