BACOLOD CITY — An estimated 105 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP 714,000 were seized by police from a 52-year-old woman in a drug bust in Barangay 2 on Thursday.
The City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) collared “Inday,” also known as “Tats,” an alleged high-value individual and resident of the village.
Police Lt. Richard Legada, assistant CDEU head, said the suspect had been under surveillance for two weeks before the operation, following reports of her alleged involvement in illegal drug activity.
Legada said the suspect was arrested in July 2018 for a drug offense and was released in February 2019 through plea bargaining.
The suspect is detained at Police Station 2 for the filing of drug charges.
