Aeronautics Student Dies in Pulupandan Motorcycle Crash

BACOLOD CITY – A 23-year-old aeronautics student on vacation was killed in a motorcycle crash in Barangay Mabini, Pulupandan, Negros Occidental, on Sunday.

The victim, identified by police only as “Christian” from Barangay Zone 7, was studying in Manila and was set to graduate this year.

Police said the victim and two friends were riding separate motorcycles when the crash occurred early in the morning.

While his two companions were able to overtake a sedan, Christian collided with the rear of the vehicle they had been trailing.

Despite wearing a helmet, he sustained severe injuries and was declared dead at a hospital.

The 34-year-old driver of the sedan, a resident of Hinigaran town, voluntarily surrendered to authorities.
