It took only three sets for the Adamson Lady Falcons to bag the 2019 PVL Collegiate volleyball title over the UST Golden Tigresses, 25-19, 25-6, 25-17.
The champions started out scorching and remained hot throughout the game, bullying the UST net defenders every time they rise for an attack.
Trisha Genesis opened the scoring avalanche for the Lady Falcons, picking up where she left off from a strong game one, torching UST with her offensive artillery.
National pool member Eya Laure was limited to only 11 markers on top of 11 excellent digs, while the other Golden Tigresses were shut down.
Adamson’s tough defense also dictated the game, as middle blocker Lorene Toring contributed half of the team’s 12 blocks.
Louie Romero was hailed the finals MVP, dishing out 24 excellent sets and adding 7 points, while Toring tallied 15 huge points.
