ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The province of Capiz has vaccinated 542,884 individuals against COVID-19.
Based on the data released by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) on Jan. 5, 2022, the number of inoculated persons account for 77.9 percent of the 568,364 target population.
The number includes 346,572 fully vaccinated persons.
Meanwhile, the province logged 11 new COVID-19 cases.
The PHO said that 6 cases are in Roxas City while 5 are in Panay town.
The number of active cases in Capiz rose to 24 – 17 are on home quarantine, 6 are confined in hospitals while 1 is in the temporary treatment and monitoring facility.
The province has recorded 9,076 recoveries while 454 died from the infection.
