ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two wanted individuals, including a woman, were arrested Tuesday morning, May 6, in separate police operations in Panay and Cuartero towns.
Alias Nene, 31, of Barangay Calitan in Panay, peacefully surrendered to authorities after a warrant of arrest was served.
She is facing charges for violating Republic Act 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
She was released after posting PHP10,000 bail for temporary liberty.
In a separate operation, Cuartero police served a warrant of arrest to Alias Angi, identified as the No. 4 Most Wanted Person at the municipal level, in Barangay Poblacion Ilawod, Cuartero.
Angi, a resident of Barangay Mainit in the same town, is facing a homicide charge.
The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Joy Ruby Infante-Guilot of Regional Trial Court Branch 18 in Roxas City on April 21, 2025.
The court recommended PHP100,000 bail for his temporary release.
He is currently under the custody of the Cuartero Police Station for proper disposition.
