2 Wanted for Murder, Homicide Nabbed in Capiz

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two men wanted for the crimes of frustrated murder and homicide were arrested in separate police operations Tuesday afternoon, April 29, in the towns of Dao and Panay, both in Capiz province.
The Dao police served a warrant of arrest against alias Boy at the home of a relative in Barangay Balucuan, Dao, for the crime of attempted murder.
The 39-year-old suspect is a resident of Barangay Poblacion Ilawod, Dao, Capiz.
The arrest warrant was issued on April 21, 2025, by Judge Joy Rubi Infante-Guilot, presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 18, in Roxas City.
The court recommended bail of PHP120,000 for his temporary liberty.
He is currently in the custody of the Dao Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Meanwhile, a 45-year-old farmer was arrested by Panay police for the crime of frustrated murder in Barangay Cabugao Oeste, Panay, Capiz.
Alias Jim, of Barangay Calapawan in Panay town, did not resist when police served the arrest warrant issued by a court in Roxas City.
The court recommended bail of PHP200,000 for his temporary liberty.
He is currently under the custody of the Panay police for proper disposition.
