The Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) taekwondo gym did not back down from the challenge and conquered the 2020 SMART/MVPSF Online National New Face of the Year Speedkicking Championships.
Coming in with high expectations and with the will to maintain the hot streak the prestigious taekwondo gym is currently in, two brave young jins prevailed over tough opponents and reaped medals.
For the Kick Pad Kicking, Elementary Girls Bluebelt Category, Margarette Gem Obsequio clinched the silver medal, outperforming top jins from all over the Philippines in her age level.
Meanwhile, Maria Dorotea Anne Aquino nabbed the gold medal in the Kickpad Kicking Event and silver in the Free Kicking Event in the Junior Female Bluebelt Category.
On October 3, 2020, the Iloilo MVP will be preparing for another battle in the 2020 SMART/MVP Sports Foundation ATF Online Taekwondo Speed.
Two of their jins will vie for a spot, Sophia Grace Go and Akimen Demavivas and will also seek to continue the dominance of the MVP gym.
