The Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) taekwondo gym just dominated another national tournament after a stellar 2020 PTA Milo Online National Taekwondo Speed and Poomsae Championships stint.
Iloilo and Western Visayas were again well-represented during the 2020 SMART/MVPSF Online National Taekwondo CPJ Championships after the prized jins from the MVP gym were able to notch 11 medals.
Fresh off a 16-medal haul during their PTA Milo Online participation, the Iloilo MVP gym showed no signs of slowing down despite the successive national tournament stints.
Cyd Edryc Esmaña delivered another gold medal in the kickpad kicking, cadet male category while Angela Bermejo clinched a gold medal in the kickpad kicking and a silver medal in the free kicking, junior female category.
Alexis Eunice Araneta, Christian Pudadera, and Quinn Jimenez all got solo silver medals in the free kicking category.
Meanwhile, Akimeh Demavivas, Jannah Ysabel Velez, Jhed Anthony Morata, Katrina Mamaril, Crisgel Castro, and Enzo Lucio Cape managed to win the bronze medal.
