ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Nine municipalities are free from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Based on data released by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) on Sunday, March 20, the towns of Dao, Dumalag, Panitan, Pilar, Pres. Roxas, Pontebedra, Sapian, Jamindan and Sigma have no more active COVID cases.
The province only has 29 cases in Roxas City (16), Dumarao (3), Maayon (3), Ivisan (2), Sigma (2), Cuartero (1), Mambusao (1), and Tapaz (1).
89.19 percent of the cases are mild and asymptomatic condition, while 10.81 percent are moderate, severe to critical.
Meanwhile, 520,488 Capiceños were vaccinated against COVID-19, which is about 79.3 percent of the total target population of 656,752.
The PHO said 488,959 have received their second dose while 42,320 received the booster dose.
