Young man yields P516-K ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – About 76 grams of suspected shabu worth P516,800 were seized in a buy-bust operation at Purok Masinadyahon, Barangay 12 here last Wednesday.
The subject was identified as Darel Demafilis, 22, of the said village.
Police Captain Francis Depasucat, head of Police Station 5, said that it took them about three months to monitor Demafilis.
“Danlog ni siya kag iya area budlay sudlon kag imonitor,” he added.
Depasucat said the suspect is jobless and refused to divulge the source of the recovered illegal drugs. He added that the suspect is considered a high-value individual.
Also recovered from him were the P500 marked money, two weighing scales, two lighters, and two pairs of scissors.
The operation was also in coordination with the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU).
