BACOLOD City – A young man was wounded after their house was razed by fire at Purok Bayanihan, Barangay Banago here last Saturday.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Bacolod identified the victim as Marlon Lubrico, 20. He suffered a laceration on his left chin and knee.
According to the BFP, the fire broke out around 10:15 a.m. from the house owned by Imelda Caponong.
The blaze left an estimated P150,000 worth of damage, affecting two families. Fire out was declared after 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, Fire Officer 2 Val Anthony Isansa, arson investigator, turned over P200,000 worth of partially burned bank notes to the occupant.
