BACOLOD City – Yanson siblings Roy, Celina, Emily and Ricardo Jr., also known as the Yanson 4, were elected anew to the board of directors of the Vallacar Transit Inc. (VTI) during the shareholders meeting held at the Seda Hotel here on Dec 5, 2020.
In a press statement sent to Daily Guardian here Sunday, Atty. Carlo Joaquin Narvasa said that the annual shareholders meeting of VTI was held during the weekend where he presided as proxy Celina (Ma. Lourdes Celina Y. Lopez) and was attended by stockholders representing 61.1 percent of the outstanding capital stock of the corporation.
Roy V. Yanson, Emily V. Yanson, Ma. Lourdes Celina V. Lopez, and Ricardo V. Yanson will sit in the board for the years 2020-2021.
Narvasa said the shareholders ratified all acts and transaction of the Board of Directors and management of the corporation under the leadership of its president, Celina V. Lopez.
He also said that in the organizational meeting that followed, the directors elected Ma. Lourdes Celina Y. Lopez as president, Roy V. Yanson as vice president for operations, Emily Yanson as treasurer and chief financial officer, Ricardo V. Yanson Jr., as corporate secretary, Anna Isabelle V. Galvez as assistant corporate secretary and Carlo Joaquin Narvasa as vice president for legal.
The other bloc of the Yanson-owned bus company is led by their matriarch Olivia, her son Leo Rey, and daughter Ginnette.
