The half-day lecture conducted by the Regional Pastoral Office 6 Chief, Police Colonel Noel R Ponsaran, focused on Anger Management and the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices, which are the priorities of the PNP leadership.
According to Police Colonel Martin Defensor Jr., the inspirational speaker during the opening of the lecture, “This seminar will help us educate our personnel how to conduct ourselves properly as we uphold the values of the PNP: makadiyos, makakalikasan, makatao and makabayan,” Defensor says.
According to Police Colonel Noel Ponsaran, he focused on the 90-10 Rule on anger management and non-violent communication.
“These topics are important on the day to day activity of every police officer. They must learn how to control their emotions in every situation.” Ponsaran said.
This seminar was attended by 43 participants composed of the members of the Regional Staff, Assistant Chiefs of divisions and 3 Police Commissioned Officers from the lowers units and mobile force companies. This activity is in line with PNP’s Ethics Day Celebration being celebrated every 1st Monday of January.
