WV cops nab 468 ‘wanted persons’ in February 2022

The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 reported that it arrested 468 “wanted persons” in the region in February 2022.
This number is 24.8 percent higher compared to 375 persons arrested in January 2022.
According to Police Brigadier General Flynn E Dongbo, PRO-6 regional director, 83 of the arrested persons were classified as most wanted persons (MWPs) and 385 were other wanted persons (OWPs).
The 83 MWPs are from Negros Occidental (23), Bacolod City (20), Iloilo Province (14), Capiz (9), Iloilo City (5), Antique (5), Aklan (4), Guimaras (2) and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – Regional Field Unit 6 (CIDG-RFU6) with 1.
The 385 OWPs are from; Negros Occidental (219), Iloilo (60), Bacolod City (30), Capiz (22), Aklan (20), CIDG-RFU6 (12), Iloilo City (10), Antique (8), and Guimaras (4).
