A new tech-powered dining experience has arrived in the Philippines, combining global flavors with artificial intelligence to revolutionize how Filipinos enjoy their meals.
World Kitchens, a first-of-its-kind five-star dining destination, has officially opened its doors on the 4th level of Gateway Mall 2 in Araneta City, offering a seamless, AI-powered group dining experience that sets a new standard in the local food scene.
Conceptualized by Singaporean F&B visionary Andrew Tan Hock Lai, the restaurant features 15 live show kitchens helmed by international chefs serving a curated selection of global comfort food—from Japanese sushi to Spanish tapas, Indian biryani, Italian pizza, and Filipino favorites.
“This isn’t just dining—it’s a culinary passport,” said Tan. “We wanted to make it easier and more exciting for groups to enjoy their favorite meals, no matter what they’re craving.”
Each table at World Kitchens is assigned a unique QR code, which guests can scan to access the full digital menu, place their orders, and pay their bills—all from the comfort of their seat.
This innovation eliminates the need for juggling separate menus, hopping between restaurants, or splitting multiple bills, allowing guests to focus solely on the food and company.
Among the 15 culinary concepts available are Kuro Maguro and Unagi Yukimitsu for authentic Japanese fare; Prana for bold Indian flavors; Asador de Manila for Spanish dishes; Chef Jessie for elevated Filipino cuisine; and Dario Pizza & More for classic Italian comfort food.
To enhance the experience further, the AI system offers intelligent recommendations by analyzing current orders and suggesting ideal pairings and side dishes.
Repeat diners using the same login benefit from personalized suggestions based on their previous visits, creating a smarter and more tailored dining journey.
From handcrafted wagashi at Sticky Sweet to cocktail creations at Lepak, every detail of World Kitchens is designed to elevate the diner’s experience, transforming a typical meal into a multi-sensory culinary adventure.
With affordability in mind, the platform offers premium food and service without the usual fine-dining price tag, aiming to make international cuisine accessible to a broader market.
“This AI-powered setup is about more than just speed—it’s about enhancing every part of the dining experience,” said Tan. “It remembers what you love, recommends what you’ll enjoy, and brings the world to your table.”
As interest in smart retail and AI-integrated services grows in the Philippines, World Kitchens stands at the intersection of hospitality and innovation, pushing the boundaries of how technology can transform traditional dining.
