Jobstreet by SEEK’s sister company, WorkAbroad.ph, has partnered with sea travel provider 2GO Travel to launch the “Enrollment to Employment” (E2E) program, which connects maritime, logistics, and cruise-line hospitality students to global job opportunities.
The E2E program was launched with key leaders in attendance: Francis Chua, 2GO Travel Business Unit head; Dannah Majarocon, Jobstreet by SEEK Philippines managing director; and Angelo Jayno, WorkAbroad.ph business unit head.
The initiative targets 100,000 students by 2026, offering practical skills and immersive, real-world training.
Students will take on responsibilities aboard 2GO vessels and in terminal operations, gaining hands-on experience in shipboard hospitality and port-side logistics while being mentored by industry professionals.
This immersive training prepares students for employment through performance evaluations, with graduates earning certificates that enhance their credentials and job prospects locally and abroad.
The program includes the Career Readiness Caravan, which offers resume writing support and interview coaching.
With the right tools, guidance, and exposure, the E2E program helps students transition confidently from classrooms to long-term careers.
Students are matched with verified jobs through agencies licensed by the Department of Migrant Workers, formerly the POEA, ensuring all overseas placements are legal and ethical.
The E2E program also addresses educational gaps by updating curricula, expanding training access, improving industry exposure, and helping students manage career-related stress.
By combining training, certification, mentorship, and ethical job matching, the program turns maritime and tourism careers into future-ready, purpose-driven paths.
“We are proud to support initiatives like the E2E program, which reflect our commitment to closing the education-to-employment gap,” said Majarocon.
“At SEEK, we believe every student deserves a fair chance at meaningful employment, and this program makes that possible by combining skill-building with real job opportunities.”
WorkAbroad.ph is a leading job portal that helps aspiring overseas Filipino workers find safe employment abroad.
It ensures jobseekers are matched only with recruitment agencies licensed by the Department of Migrant Workers.
WorkAbroad jobs are also available via the Jobstreet by SEEK app on Android and iOS.
