Lady employees of the Iloilo City government were pampered as they received free services in celebration of Women’s Month, this March 2022.
lloilo City Population Office (CPO) and Technical Institute of Iloilo City (TIIC) offered free services exclusive to women employees of the City Hall to culminate Women’s Month on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Ker Bldg.
The free services include manicure, pedicure, haircut, massage and free blood pressure check-up for women employees.
A total of 500 tickets were issued by the CPO and were distributed to the different offices at the Iloilo City government to avail of the free services.
Mary Ann Ramos head of the CPA said the “pamper day” is a special treat for women employees who felt stressed amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Through the activity Ramos hopes that women employees will feel refreshed and inspired to do better in fulfilling their responsibilities.
“As we celebrate Women’s Month, the pampering activity is a special treat for our women employees who felt stressful for the past few years because of the pandemic, so at least they can feel revived, feel good, and do better with their responsibilities,” he said in a statement on Monday.

Meanwhile, graduates of skills and livelihood trainings at the TIIC will provide the pamper services to women employees as part of their practicum.
“Ginapadayaw ko gid ang aton mga empleyado nga kababainhan nga padayon nga nagaserbisyo sang tampad para sa kaayuhan sang aton pumuluyo,” Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas said in a statement. (DG)
