BACOLOD City – A woman was arrested for alleged possession of around 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 in a buy-bust at Purok Pag-Asa, Barangay Alijis here last Tuesday.
Police arrested Michelle De Asis, 36, of Barangay 27 here.
Major Ritchie Gohee, head of Police Station 4, said they have been monitoring De Asis for a while, but she transferred to a new house after she probably noticed that she was under surveillance.
Gohee said that De Asis was busted by police operatives at her rented house, where the operation was conducted in coordination with the Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit (DEG-SOU) – 6.
De Asis is considered a street level individual, according to the police. She will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
