BACOLOD City – A woman tagged in the selling of illegal drugs was gunned down by two unidentified men on a motorcycle at Sitio Agay-ayan, Barangay Bulado, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental on Wednesday.
Killed was Zelsun Blue K. Behag, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, but a native of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental based on her identification cards.
A report from the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (Norppo) indicated that the victim was driving a motorcycle when she was reportedly tailed by the assailants and shot.
She was taken to Guihulngan District Hospital, where she was declared dead.
Police recovered from the scene five empty shells of .45 caliber ammunition and two slugs.
Police said that the victim’s former partner was arrested for illegal drugs. She lived with her new partner in Guihulngan City before her death.
Police also said that the victim was allegedly involved in selling illegal drugs in the areas of San Carlos City, Guihulngan City, and Vallehermoso town.
Investigation is still ongoing.
