BACOLOD City A woman was robbed at Barangay Mansilingan, this city Tuesday night.
Police Major Sherlock Gabana, head of Police Station 7, said 29-year-old Jouana Cambronero was walking on her way home at 9:30 p.m. when an unidentified man followed her.
The man tried to choke her from behind and declared the heist.
He allegedly took her bag containing wallet with P1,800 cash, Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card, Identification cards, and cellular phone, and fled.
Gabana said the robber was later identified as Ronnie Cantara of the said village, through the stations rogues gallery.
Gabana said Cantara has a previous record for robbery hold-up at the area of Police Station 10.
This is the second robbery hold-up incident he was involved in, the station commander added.
He is still at-large.
