Woman nabbed in drug bust

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 40-year-old woman and a former drug “surrenderer” was arrested Thursday evening in a drug buy-bust operation at Brgy. Cagay here. Police identified the suspect as Sharon Baes, a native of said barangay. Recovered from Baes were 4 sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, and a cellphone.

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 40-year-old woman and a former drug “surrenderer” was arrested Thursday evening in a drug buy-bust operation at Brgy. Cagay here.
Police identified the suspect as Sharon Baes, a native of said barangay.
Recovered from Baes were 4 sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, and a cellphone.
The suspected illegal drugs weighted 4 grams with an estimated street value of P2,000.
PMaj Christopher Candelario, team leader of Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of the Roxas City Police Station, said Baes was a drug surrenderer in 2016.
Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against Baes.
