A dead woman was found dead inside a sports utility vehicle (SUV) parked at Barangay Inangayan, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo Tuesday afternoon.
The cadaver was wrapped in a blanket and was laid down on the second row seat of a Mitsubishi Montero Sports SUV (license plate WRQ846).
Police identified the woman as a certain Claire Diergos of Deca Homes in Pavia, Iloilo, based on information from her sibling.
She purportedly bought the Montero Sports from a former Iloilo mayor (Daily Guardian is withholding the former mayor’s name pending further verification)
The body was already emitting foul odor when discovered around 3 p.m. of Oct 26.
Residents claimed that the vehicle has been parked on the same spot since early evening of October 22.
Residents claimed to have seen a man and woman who appeared to be arguing on the day the vehicle was abandoned.
