Woman found dead in her own room

A YOUNG woman is believed to have been murdered inside her own house in Pavia, Iloilo.
The body of Eira Jane Fabiaña, 22, was discovered by her older brother around 4:45 a.m. of July 17, 2019 at their family home in Purok IV, Pavia.
The victim’s brother resides in Barotac Nuevo town and occasionally visits their family home in Pavia.
Police Captain Fernand Limbungan, Pavia police chief, said the brother was surprised when he discovered that their front door and his sister’s bedroom were unlocked.
When he checked, he saw her lying on her back on the bed with blood oozing from her head.
The victim was half naked when found.
Upon seeing his sister, he immediately checked on their mother, who was just sleeping in the next room.
The victim was living with her mother after her father was also killed in Barotac Nuevo.
