BACOLOD City – A woman believed to have drowned was found dead at Barangay 1 here last Sunday.
Police Major Sherlock Gabana, head of Police Station 2, identified the fatality as Editha Pasenio, 48, of Barangay Banago.
Gabana said that Pasenio, who was believed to be drunk, went to the shore to gather seashells last Saturday morning, when she probably slipped and hit her head on a rock and got drowned.
She was found floating at the sea by a fisherman, the following day, past 8 a.m.
“She was already bloated but she had no injuries,” Gabana said.
